CONVICTION WEEK 3 DAY 2

Reflect
Sin causes us to be trapped.  Not able to rescue ourselves, and not able to get to God. That’s why He came to us. Just like in Chile when they sent a volunteer down, (that had a lot of risk involved,) God did the same thing. He sent a physical representation of Him, Jesus. To help you and I to get out of the trap, and to be able to get to God.

What do you think about that?

How does it make you feel?

Isn’t that amazing? God did the un-thinkable, to rescue the un-rescue-able. Not because he had to, but because he loves you and me that much. Can you imagine, a God like that?  Who wants us to be with him so much he’d risk doing what anyone else would have said was not possible

Request
Let’s pray
God, I find it amazing that you would send Jesus down.
To rescue people who had no hope of being rescued.
Thank-you for loving me and rescuing me. Amen

Recite
God loved the people of this world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who has faith in him will have eternal life and never really die. God did not send his Son into the world to condemn its people. He sent him to save them! John 3:16&17
